Party:
In addition to the workshops, we have a great party planned to try out your new dance moves.
It will take place on Saturday the 29th from 20:00 till 1:30 at Restaurant Het Oude Tolhuys. This is a beautiful location at the edge of Utrecht.
The room partially contains a wooden dance floor. For the party we have found an amazing band.
Adam Hall and The Velvet Playboys have performed for us before on band nights, and we absolutely loved them. Now they are back to liven up our party once again.
All the way from Perth, Adam Hall, on trumpet and vocals, is joined by Bronton Ainsworth on drums, Kate Pass on the bass, Adrian Galante on Keyboard and Clarinet, Mark Turner on Saxophone and Guitar and Anthony Dodos on Trombone.
They have been playing together since 2005. They combine covers with originals, and refer to their repertoire as being ‘rooted in the Jazz and Rhythm & Blues music of the 40’s and 50’s’.
So get ready for some swinging songs, slick performances, and great dances!
