HOPSPOT + BEGINNER drop-in workshop
A social dance event for lindy hoppers of all levels, every Wednesday. It is the ultimate chance to put your newly learned moves and techniques into practice and dance your ass off. Order yourself a drink and enjoy the music of our DJs. The drop-in class takes place before the social dance, from 19:40 to 20:30 hrs. You don't have to register, just show up on time! Generally HopSpots are 7 euro's for social + beginner workshop and 5 euro's for just the social, but prices may vary depending on the type of HopSpot. You can pay at the door, there's no registration system.
HOPSPOT LIVE + Beginner DROP-IN workshop
Every first half of the month on a Friday Swing in Utrecht presents HopSpot Live! Similar to a HopSpot, but every month with a different live band. Show what you've learned to people all over the country or enjoy the music and dancing from the sidelines while you get back the energy to race onto that dancefloor again. The drop-in class takes place before the social dance from 19:30 to 20:30. You don't have to register, just show up on time!

Blues Night + Beginner drop-in workshop
Every once in a while it's a Blues Night. Lindy Hop not doing it for you and you want to take your time and get a little more closer? Then Blues might just be the dance for you. Sometimes with DJs giving you the music you want, and sometimes a live band providing those Bluesy tunes. The drop-in class takes place before the social dance, from 19:40 to 20:30 hrs. You don't have to register, just show up on time!

Tea dance (Free entrance)
Every third Sunday of the month, there is a tea dance at Oproer. This event is organized by inventive dancers that are looking to practice more. Are you looking for the same? Or do you just want to try out moves without interrupting others at a social dance? Or do you just want to chill out and socialize with your fellow hoppers? Then check our website and Facebook page for this monthly event.
shaggin' utrecht
Come and join us for this Collegiate Shag festival that will offer you in the course of a weekend hours of classes from some of the best international teachers as well as parties with live music!

Swingdom
Each year in September/October our one and only Lindy Hop festival takes place in our picturesque city with its canals and of course the Dom tower (hence the name SwingDom). You can expect a wonderful long weekend with international teachers teaching at a variety of levels and a variety of dance styles, special events around the city and the very best live bands!
