Swing Philosophy and Swing in Utrecht are joining forces in a new venture and are very happy to announce that as of January we are bringing the amazing Blake Thiessen as a residing artist!
Blake has his roots in Southern Callifornia, one of the largest Swing scenes in the world, where he developed a relentless obsession for Lindy, Balboa and Collegiate Shag. He has won a variety of international competitions (ILHC, Camp Hollywood, Lindyfest) and taught all around the world. His teaching qualities lie in partner connection, tasteful musicality, developing beautiful basics.
Blake will be teaching on Mondays and Tuesdays in Utrecht and Wednesdays and Thursdays in Amsterdam. What he will be teaching is going to be a surprise for a little later, but it will absolutely be worth the wait!
We can also announce that registrations for this block (for Swing in Utrecht) will be on the 18th of December (EDIT: due to possible Corona measurements we have decided to go live on the 22nd of December) if all goes well!
Write that in your diary so you don’t miss lessons from Blake Thiessen, but also not miss it in general of course. We will post the schedule as soon as we’ve completed it!
